Best use case

This tool works best for the last 3 natural cycles. Pregnancy, postpartum/breastfeeding, hormonal contraception, HRT, and ovarian stimulation/IVF monitoring can all reduce how well a rhythm-based interpretation applies.

1) Eligibility & cycle overview

Start here to estimate how interpretable a rhythm-based cycle read is for this month.

Use the longest cycle minus the shortest. A spread of 7 days or less is more stable.
2) Menstrual phase & Blood Sea (Hai Yin / Hai Yang)

Hai Yin reflects the endometrial base and nourishment. Hai Yang reflects transformation, shedding, release, and how smoothly the period moves out.

3) Post-menstrual / follicular / ovulatory phase

Focus: Gui Yin, Jing Yin, Shui Yin, Water-in-Fire (FSH), and Yin-in-Yang (LH / ovulatory conversion).

In this framework, both the clean day and the number of stretchy-mucus days are observed against the 7 / 5 / 3 rhythm.
Optional lab & ultrasound inputs for this phase
4) Luteal / premenstrual Yang phase

Focus: Gui Yang, Jing Yang, Qi Yang, Fire Yang, and Earth Yang. The most useful public clues here are BBT, premenstrual warmth/cold, stool, fatigue, swelling, and mood/heat signs.
