Meet Mike: university education and clinical learning in TCM women’s health
Mike (Weijie) Xu, R.Ac., R.TCMP, earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in herbal medicine at Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine. His clinical learning included observing Professor Xia Guicheng’s consultations and recording and studying his herbal prescriptions.
Mike welcomes patients from Toronto and the GTA for complementary fertility acupuncture and TCM care at Momentum Therapy in Aurora.

You can book an initial appointment to discuss whether complementary acupuncture care is appropriate for you. Mike reviews your health history, medicines and fertility clinic plan. Acupuncture does not replace fertility investigations, IUI or IVF.
Do I need to complete a course before IUI or IVF?
There is no required course before starting fertility treatment. Appointments are discussed individually around your clinic’s schedule, preferences and budget. Explore natural conception and IUI care or IVF and FET support.
